Listen to Soundgarden Radio on iHeartRadio

Soundgarden took the stage in their hometown again Thursday afternoon to help welcome the return of football.

Chris Cornell and company played the NFL Kickoff concert outside of Seattle's CenturyLink Field just before the Seahawks took on the Green Bay Packers.

For Soundgarden's set, "The Seattle Times" says the band mixed newer tracks like "Been Away Too Long" with classics like "Spoonman" and "Rusty Cage."

Cornell noted that even though his band may be one of the loudest around, Seahawks fans are even louder.
