Steve Perry is at it again. Billboard.com says the former Journey frontman joined The Eels for another show over the weekend, this time sitting in for a few songs at their concert in Washington, DC.
At Saturday's concert, Perry stepped up to sing an Eels song and a cover of Sam Cooke's "Only Sixteen" along with the Journey hits "Open Arms" and "Loving Touching Squeezing."
Perry previously made a guest appearance with The Eels in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 25th, marking the first time in nearly 20 years that he'd performed in public.
After that concert, The Eels' Mark Everett told Billboard he hoped Steve would play more shows with the group, but was "just glad it happened" once. Everett added that he'd never "press Steve" to sit in with The Eels again, explaining that in their relationship "Steve does what Steve does."
