Megadeth is giving back on their "Gigantour."  The group is using their show in Oklahoma City Tuesday night to raise money for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and will be donating the money they make from the concert to the organization.

Bassist Dave Ellefson says with every tour Megadeth looks for ways to help communities they visit.  He tells Pollstar.com their goal is to not only raise money but also "some publicity and hopefully goodwill."  The rocker explains that giving back not only leaves the band members feeling good, but he believes it helps the genre's image so heavy metal isn't always seen as "the bad guy."

And Megadeth is helping out in Oklahoma with more than just their music.  The band and other "Gigantour" groups joined local celebrities for an all-star charity softball game in Oklahoma City Monday night.  All the money raised from the game is also going to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

The Megadeth-led "Gigantour" also features Black Label Society, Hellyeah, Newsted, and other metal bands.
