The Rolling Stones are returning to the road. Two weeks after the suicide death of frontman Mick Jagger's longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott, the group has announced plans to perform 14 dates on its "14 On Fire" tour over five weeks this summer, mostly in Europe.
Most of the shows had been announced before the Stones postponed the Australian leg of their tour due to Scott's passing but some new dates have been added. One of those dates include a stop in Tel Aviv on June 4th. A May 26th concert in Oslo; the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon on May 28th; and the Roskilde Festival in Denmark on July 3rd are also on the schedule, as are stops in Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Jagger was among those who eulogized Scott at her funeral last week in Los Angeles. The 49-year-old fashion designer was found dead in her Manhattan apartment on March 17th.
