Ringo Starr got a little help from one of his friends. A friend who plays in his All-Starr Band.
Men at Work's Colin Hay, a member of Ringo's touring group, wrote a song several years ago that turned out to be perfect for his boss. It was so perfect that "What's My Name" became the title track for Starr's current album.
Hay says "What's My Name" connected with Ringo immediately. Since both men live in Southern California, Colin drove up to Ringo's house for a live audition -- and the guys recorded it on the spot.
