Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Rickey Medlocke is stepping out on his own for a new charity single.
It's called "Never Run Out of Road," and Medlocke recorded it to raise awarness about missing and murdered indigenous women. The track will raise money for the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, which campaigns to end the trafficking of Native American women.
Medlocke is of Lakota Sioux and Cherokee ancestry, and he says, “I want to give back to my native community through 'Never Run Out of Road' and I want to educate others on the missing and murdered indigenous women crisis and empower people to get involved."
