Lou Gramm Is Touring With Foreigner

Lou Gramm is reuniting with Foreigner, at least temporarily. The band's original singer will be filling in for Kelly Hansen during their upcoming South American tour. Hansen is the one who shared the news.

"Some issues have forced me to limit appearances outside of the USA this year, and this means, unfortunately, I will miss Foreigner's South American run," he said in a statement (via blabbermout.net). "However, our incredible bandmate Luis Maldonado has been recording some of our hits in Spanish and he will be handling most of the vocals along with Lou Gramm who will be guesting with Foreigner for those shows. I know they will smash it!"

It's unclear what issues Hansen is referring to; however, the band recently revealed he won't be fronting their Canadian tour either, with Geordie Brown taking over vocal duty for those shows.

Gramm help found Foreigner in 1976 and sang some of the band's biggest hits, including "Feels Like The First Time" and "Cold As Ice" from Foreigner's self-titled debut in 1977, as well as "Hot Blooded" and "I Want to Know What Love Is." He first left the band in 1990 and returned in 1992 before leaving for good 10 years later. He performed with the band last year to celebrate their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction and most recently came out as a special guest during a show in Florida on March 15.
