Sammy Hagar rocked the T-Mobile Arena stage on Friday night (September 19) on the first night of the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One.
The singer-songwriter and guitarist, hailed “The Red Rocker,” has long been known for his solo music and his work with Montrose and Van Halen throughout his decades-long career. Hagar, 77, transported the Las Vegas crowd back to the 1980s and 1990s with his classic rock anthems, including “Right Now,” “I Can’t Drive 55” and “Heavy Metal,” plus “Encore, Thank You, Goodnight,” which the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member released earlier this year.
The star-studded, genre-spanning event returns on Friday and Saturday night (September 20) to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The lineup of the 2025 show includes Hagar, plus Bailey Zimmerman, BigXthaPlug, Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran, Diplo, GloRilla, John Fogerty, Justice, LL COOL J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Jelly Roll, Tate McRae, The Offspring, and Tim McGraw.
