Two days ago Alex Honnold made it up the nearly sheer face of El Capitan without benefit of a parachute, tools of any kind nor a rope. Hands only - Known as Free Solo. On the way up he passed people sleeping on the side of the rock (it would take them 4 days to scale the vertical rock formation.) Honnold did it in 4 HOURS...at a height 300 feet taller than Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the worlds tallest skyscraper! See the crazy pics & video HERE
