This is a daily chronological account of The Beatles - An interesting factoid or two. Since we also play selections on our show from the solo members dates of interest for them are included.
11th in 1964 - The Beatles play their first concert in the U.S. at the Washington Coliseum in the nation's capitol. After the show they attend a charity masked ball in their honor at the British Embassy. In 1965 - Ringo Starr marries Maureen Cox in London. George, John & Cynthia Lennon attend but Paul, on vacation in Tunisia, does not.
