Paul McCartney's given his approval to Tenacious D's (actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass) acoustic guitar and vocal scatting cover of The Beatles' "You Never Give Me Your Money" into "The End" -- both songs being from side two ofAbbey Road.
He says the "cover of our song is fantastic! It’s so imaginative and so well performed. What a great tribute to the original. Guys -- I love it."
The two-song medley is part of a limited edition seven-inch vinyl release with all the proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
